The Labyrinth group is a very old organization approximately 32 million years old. They took a large part in managing diplomatic resolutions and initiating peace acts after various space wars and intergalactic conflicts. They also took an active role in assisting earth civilizations as it ran into various challenges and struggles in dealing with other E.T. groups.
Despite the group being very close to the Intergalactic Council, they do not follow their intentions all the time since at times they can appear to have a detached interest in affairs. This can actually be beneficial in that this on some occasions, helps avoid direct conflict with other civilizations. The Labyrinth Group is currently known to have very positive relations with the Council of 5 and is charged with the specific mission of acting as galactic mediators with the intention of promoting universal peace.
